Based on learnings from the 2015 Takeda digital audit we developed the microsite betterhealth.takeda.com and betterhealth.takeda.co.jp. Increased focus was placed on making the site more user-friendly, more visual and responsive. The site would act as a collaborative experiment between Takeda to explore what could be achieved using Drupal content management system.
To address the balance between visual engagement and text heavy content, we developed two slides that rotate automatically and controls to move between the slides. The text content is partially hidden, with headers and first paragraphs including teasers to ‘Read more’.
The result was that on launch in December 2015, the site actually took over the global corporate website: takeda.com. Since live, new functionalities such as scrolling navigation and rotating banners have been added, helping explore the capabilities of Drupal.
