The Medical Affairs portal is a private online portal intended for cross-functional roles. The vision for the website is to create a responsive, web-based ‘workspace’ with a clear focus on simplicity and relevance. User experience (UX) planning, as well as a modular website design, featuring strong iconography and extensive signposting.
From a systems architecture point-of- view, the website was planned to be integrated with ‘The Hub’, which is the embodiment of Boehringer Ingelheim’s Integrated Customer Engagement (ICE) strategy. The portal was very well received within the medical community and is currently being rolled out to several countries including Italy, UK and US.
